Vice President PDF Print E-mail
Hi everybody,

I would like to welcome all of you to Dundalk IT. I hope you all had a great summer and you are looking forward to the upcoming college-year. I would like to thank all the returning students who elected me as the SU’s Vice President, and congratulate all the incoming 1st year students on getting into DkIT.

My role as the vice president is to deal with the welfare and entertainment of the students of DkIT.

On the welfare side, I’m here to help with any issues that student’s might encounter. If you’re finding things difficult, you can’t settle in or you have a personal problem that you don’t feel confident talking to someone you know about, then please don’t hesitate to just call in or contact me on the details below.

I will also be running a number of welfare campaigns throughout the year in order to educate you on a number of different aspects of student life. Some of the campaigns this year will include: Sexual & Mental Health, Road & Water Safety. We will also be running different support facilities for students from different cultural, social and sexual backgrounds.

On the entertainment side of your student life, we plan to give you the most enjoyable college-year at DkIT. Both day and night, there’ll be many activities from a variety of entertainers. This year we have plans to host some of the most exciting College Balls and the best Raise & Give Week Dundalk has seen.

I welcome any student input, the doors of the Student Union are always open and it’s “Your Voice” that we would like to hear.

Looking forward to seeing you around the college.
